Hi, I'm Ruben and I'm a 19 year old software developer from Vienna/Austria.

From a young age, I've always been captivated by the inner workings of the things around me. Everything from the way a toy works to the how the lights turn off when you close the fridge wrapped itself in some sort of mysterious magic I wanted to uncover. Opening the toy or finding the button that turns the lights off was always a highlight for me and made everything more interesting. Things that otherwise would have been boring became interesting and fun.

I think using this can help you learn new things faster and understand them better. Mastering a new technology or tool becomes much easier once you understand the concept behind it. Experiencing moments where something clicks and I just understand it also keeps me from losing interest or motivation. Many technologies especially in the software development space use similar concepts making it much easier to learn as time goes on.

Generally, I burn for anything tech related. And even though I don't have any hard preferences I do love working on something that challenges me. I strongly believe that always repeating the same mundane tasks is not only boring but can also be harmful to your mental health.
